Most people call me “Misha”. My Husband started calling me by that name so I suppose it is ok to blame it on him. 😀
I am a daughter, sister, wife, and mother. I am a woman, a person, a lover of life.
Nature, fitness, hiking, animals, traveling, I love it all.
Birds are a passion of mine. That is my grandmother’s fault. Today my “bird fix” is received through falconry thanks to Master Falconer, Bob Aanenson in Coweta, Oklahoma. I discovered falconry (and Bob Aanenson) at the Oklahoma Renaissance Fair held annually at the Castle of Muskogee. That was over 10 years ago.
Nature and hiking are loves that will never grow old for me as well. As a child, I had access to 10 acres and my weekends were spent running, climbing, hiding, and exploring every bit of the creek, ponds, and woods those ten acres held.
Fitness…well…that came later in life. Again I get to blame this one on my Husband. Ever the sports and fitness buff in school, it stuck with him after school transitioned into life. Therefore it also carried over into “us” and I have learned a great deal. I enjoy running, hiking, indoor wall climbing, swimming, and many other fitness activities. I run at least one 5K a year….this year (2013) I hope to make it two. My family has become more fitness and health oriented as a result which is good for all of us.
I am a photographer. I love the art. I love meeting new people. I love life.
People are part of life. They are the treasures that change life’s landscape everywhere you go. If you don’t believe me, sit on a park bench for a an hour and take in the sites….OR…visit your family for the holidays and see how different the house becomes with the addition of first one person, then another, and another….with each new arrival, the dynamics change. The scenery changes. Life and its canvas are ever changing. What do you see?
